Topic: Turning an Arduino into a Bluetooth keyboard. (Read 476 times) previous topic - next topic

The idea is to have an arduino read 8 different buttons, and then transmit those button presses over Bluetooth to a computer where it just looks like 8 keys on a keyboard.

The range only has to be about 2-6 ft. I can solder any technology around, so packaging isn't a concern. The smaller/cheaper the better.

So can I have the computer see the bluetooth as a keyboard?

What bluetooth chip should I be looking at?

(sorry, i've never used bluetooth before)
