Hi there,
I have ov7670 camera module with no ram and 2.4" arduino tft display. My question is both have 8 bit paralel port so can i connect them head to head and get result?(tft and camera control over arduino just data directly passed through screen).

Have a nice day. :)

You wasted your money!

Don't waste our time google this forum before posting questions and of course read the datasheets before posting questions as stupid as this.=

That's possible, provided that both the camera and screen have a common data transfer protocol. Consult the data sheets...

First if you dont want to help and dont know anything about this topic just shut your mouth and be polite to others. If you check datasheet you cannot see any protocols about these modules so it does not solve the problem.Again dont think 2. time before writing that stupid answer.

You come here with that attitude! I suggest you take your screen, camera, and datasheets and RAM THEM UP YOUR NOSE!!!

How dare you talk to anyone like that! Did you google the subject? If not, why not? Did you not read the datasheets that show to pinout, command set and protocol of both devices & consider that they have nothing to do with each other?

Very unlikley.

There is no standard interface protocol for an 8 bit parallel port. Such ports are normally intended for reading and writing data, with a microcontroller doing the interfacing bit in the middle.
$50SAT is now Silent (but probably still running)

Firstly thanks for answers. :)
I didnt  solve this in my mind.In serial communication, yes we need protocols but in basic paralel like this with same frequency and data format controlled with arduino.Do we really need to enter that 8 bit data inside arduino.Because i check some basic application examples and didnt notice any changes on inner and outer data.I am not telling this must be work but i cant say this will never work.I will try when screen arrive.

Have a nice day.

OV7670 need an external clock and has a protocol that is different from the TFT.
You need an MCU in the middle.
It was done with Arduino and STM32F103
