Wiring error? Does Segment e also turn on when segment c turns on, say for displaying a 1?

Hi Crossroads,

I put a message in the input box that consisted of all the lower case alphabet followed by all upper case alphabet, when the message is displayed on the led matrix all letters appear correctly apart from lower case c which appears to be the same as lower case o so I don't think its a wiring problem.....

thanks

Well,

Sorry guys on closer inspection it appears that the lower case c has just one pixel missing to make it a c, I think i would of removed 3 pixels myself so that it did look like a c, I suppose changing this would be a massive headache would it ?

thanks
Stuart

You can define your own font. This is described in the MD_MAX72xx documentation and also at this blog article https://arduinoplusplus.wordpress.com/2016/11/08/parola-fonts-a-to-z-defining-fonts/
