Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hi I'm new to this part of the arduino programming.

I need a RGB lcd/tft display and was wondering which to choose.
the display should be 320x240 or larger in pixels and 2.8" or bigger with a touch screen.
Can one of you point me which display to use and some example code if possible.
From origin I'm an elecronics engineer and not a programmer.

There is pretty much only one (stuck on a few different breakout boards)
Either I use the search bar to find posts which I know are there, or you do - the way I see it - it might as well be you smiley-wink

Top right - type something like 2.8" LCD - from there you'll get a load of other things to look up.

ITead has a few larger (2.4" and 3.2") touchscreen LCDs with shields:

Also, Adafruit has a 2.8" display and the Microtouch:

Sparkfun has a 3.2" serial LCD as well:

Anyway, just a few ideas.

They're all basically the same display - the only one really being any different is the serial one from SF

Well, somewhat; the 3.2" and 2.8" LCDs themselves are different, and some of these displays have different controllers hanging off them (ILI9325 for the 2.8" ITead and Adafruit screens, although I've seen others, and HX8347-A for the 3.2").

They're similar (usually SPI- or 8/16-bit-parallel-controllable), but are different enough to be a PITA. smiley-wink

Hadn't realised the 3.2 uses a different controller - you learn something new every day smiley
