I'm in a situation where my linux (also happens in windows) don't react when i plug in the arduino board.

I did my best on troubleshooting by checking some things like the cable that connects it to the pc, cdc_acm module, permisions and some other things. I got to the conclusion that i need to reburn a bootloader because it was messed up.
Trying to upload a bootloader or blink sketch when pluging and unpluging doesn't seems to work as ther's no ports shown. The board doesn't have resset button and when connected to the pc all the leds go on (two red and one green).

I have seen reburning bootloaders with the help of other arduino boards but I only have the board and a micro sd card addapter.

In this situation i would like to know if there is a way to reburn a bootloader to the board without any extra arduino hardware? (like sumulating the arduino board in the port it is connectet to even the computer doesn't react at it and throwing the bootloader there hopping the board to catch it)

I'm new into arduino stuff so maybe this question make no sense. However thanks for the suport and the forum!!!

The board im using is this one: http://kookye.com/2016/02/22/kookye-pro-micromini-atmega32u4-module-board-for-arduino-leonardo-replace-atmega328/

No, bootloader can only be written with an ISP programmer. This is a separate piece of hardware (can be done with a working arduino)

Not happy but also not surprised, I was expecting this answer.

Thx a lot DrAzzy...

Arduino nano clones, usbasps, and usbtinyisp clones are under $5 on Ebay. Just buy one of those...

Yees, i'll probably get a pi zero for something like that. Have heard its doable so. Two birds with one stone.
