Hello,

is it possible to flash the compiled programm directly from the arduino over ISP without using the bootloader and the serial interface?
I dont have a rs232 port on my notebook and the board i have has no usb port only the ISP

i have a isp programmer, and i already used it with avrdude, its just that i dont want to use the bootloader to program the chip because that needs a serial connection which i dont have at the moment.

You may have to alter or add settings to boards.txt (and possibly programmers.txt) but what you want to do works well.  I only use a programmer / ICSP to upload from the Arduino IDE.
