Whereas I agree that there must be some size restrictions, especially in the Programming Questions or Project Guidance sub forums which may otherwise be filled with high resolution screen shots etc., I believe the 1MB per post restriction in the  Exhibition / Gallery sub forum is too small. Say, a PDF document describing a project with reasonable resolution images can easily exceed that.
Of course, I can find somewhere else to publish my projects but it would be more convenient here.
I recommend at least 2MB per post in such a sub forum.

It looks like the current attachment limit is 1920 KB.

Why do you believe the limit is 1 MB?

When I create a new thread in the Exhibition / Gallery sub forum, I see this:

I'll try later with a dummy entry to see if there is a discrepancy between the information message and the effective size restriction, which I will then have to ask you to delete as I believe I cannot delete an OP.

. . . which failed with the  message below:

Anyway, for an Exhibition Gallery, I consider the limit too small.

OK. Thanks. It worked now with a 1.8 MB test attachment. I tried also to see what the real limit was and got this message when I tried with 3.6 MB ...
