I don't know anything about mobile mode but you could try this link:

lot of smartphones use mobile version for websites, if website has. this forum has a mobile version. but there is no entry in the menu to reach private message. usual version has this entry.

your link is working. :-) but not the best solution, to always open this thread and select the link. an entry for pn in menu would be great.

I agree. The link was not intended to be a permanent solution, only a temporary workaround.
