I'm trying to format my SD card with the attached code:

However, when I run the code the following section gives me a message:
 // install the utility to format in EXT4
    exitCode = opkg.runShellCommand(F("opkg install e2fsprogs dosfstools fdisk rsync kmod-fs-ext4"));
    if (exitCode != SUCCESSFUL_EXIT_CODE) {
      Serial.print("\nExit code");
      Serial.println(exitCode);
      Serial.println(F("err. installing e2fsprogs dosfstools fdisk rsync kmod-fs-ext4"));
      debugProcess(opkg);
      halt();
    }
    Serial.println(F("e2fsprogs dosfstools fdisk rsync kmod-fs-ext4 installed"));
  }

Message:
err. installing e2fsprogs dosfstools fdisk rsync kmod-fs-ext4

every time the returned exitCode is given as 255, while the SUCCESSFUL_EXIT_CODE IS 0.

How do i get past this issue?

The response I get from the serial monitor is:
