java blocked - I guess I will throw away all my Arduino stuff (boards, books itc.  I can find nothing to aidin getting my displays to work and now my Internet Security Programs are blocking JAVA with my boards preventing uploading programs.  Back to good old fasioned switches and relays which are very much more reliable.

...or you could just fix the Java problem. If you can't use Java you're going to have plenty problems beyond Arduino. You might want to throw out your computer while you're at it. Better yet, give that stuff to someone who wouldn't let something like this stop them.

What happens if you download and install Oracle Java yourself?

It may not be the answer you were looking for but its the one I am giving based on either experience, educated guess, google or the fact that you gave nothing to go with in the first place so I used my wonky crystal ball.
