Which GSM for Weather Station project
Oct 03, 2018, 08:40 pm
Hello@ all,
which GSM is the best for a small weather station project.
It should send some text msg and e-mails of the measured temp / hum.
This will be powered by a Lithium polymer battery. That means the GSM souldn't use a lot of energy.
Thanks for help

The adafruit FONA is well supported and can be put asleep when not is use. There are also some SIM800L based breakout boards on amazon that work fine, be aware they are 3.7v, not 5v. Both are well supported by libraries.
