I was attempting to install a code directly form hex code for CNC application, then a used xloader to do it. The problem came before a try to upload the file and the program crash, so I had to finish the process, then the Arduino IDE can't find the Arduino UNO.
I think that the bootloader has been corrupted, so a tried to burn the bootloader from ISP mode, but nothing happens.

pert

then the Arduino IDE can't find the Arduino UNO.
Please explain exactly what you mean by that. Are you saying the Uno doesn't show up in the Tools > Port menu?

Marcoto

In the tools tab nothing appear as detected in the COM option and the common fix repairing the driver in the manager continue to don't identify the driver or even the respective COM port connected.
Adding about the ISP process to program, this is the error status:

PROBLEM SOLVED.
My Arduino UNO is a Chinese version an it use a CH340 as bootloader  chip whats have a different driver to make it run in the USB port. So, just need to download the CH340 driver.

sterretje

The CH340 is not "the boot loader chip". The boot loader is programmed in the 328P processor. To communicate with the boot loader in the 328P, you need serial communication; the CH340 converts USB communication to serial communication.
If you understand an example, use it.
If you don't understand an example, don't use it.
