Topic: HC 12 Command mode Junk values in serial monitor  (Read 1 time) previous topic - next topic

Hello,

I am trying to control a motor remotely using HC12 module and Arduino nano.

Currently I have not changed any AT commands of HC12 module.

It is working fine for short range with factory settings, To increase the range I am trying to enter in command mode.

If I connect the SET pin to GND the module starts sending many junk characters continuously to Arduino.

If I reset it again it is filling my serial monitor again.

Kindly advice.....!

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
try changing the baudrate. I was using HC-05 a few months ago and was receiving junk characters too and that fixed it.
For example if you set the serial to 9600 and try listening at some other frequency, it's gonna receive junk characters.
Cheers

Hello,

I have tried other baud rates. when the baud rate is 23400 it is sending "f⸮⸮`fx⸮" these characters but TX and RX LED keeps glowing.
When I go below this baud rate it is again started to sending junk characters.
If the baud rate is250000 when I type AT it is displaying AT, Nothing happening.

Kindly advice
Thanks in Advance.
