Topic: RC car remote control (futaba T2PH) controlled by arduino (Read 74 times) previous topic - next topic

Mr_Poulay

Hello,
I am trying to control my RC cars by using my arduino. The remote control is a futaba T2PH.
On this remote, there are 2 potentiometers powered by 5.1V.
The return value of the potentiometer is from 1.01 V to 3.90V.
So i used the analogWrite() function to have the good voltage out of the arduino.
And I checked with a multimeter, the value are good.
But when i plug the output of my arduino instead of the potentiometer, this is not working.
I tried the plug the ground and 5V together but the wheels are just shivering.
I don't if I have to just plug the ground or just the 5V because the remote control has his own battery.
I tried few combination but nothing worked.

So if you have any ideas, let me know.
Thanks.
