Hi everybody,

I'm a new arduino user and I bought an arduino board with an Ethernet shield....
My question is:

How can I get the MAC address of my ethernet shield???

You must provide one for it.

I mean its you that set the mac address of the ethernet shield.

You ve got a lot of examples on the site.

thank you...I see a lot of example but I know that MAC address  is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces...and so I think that every device need to have his own MAC address...

his own MAC address inside the network you're in...
This... is a hobby.

If it's a new one, there's probably a sticker with 6 groups of 2 hex digits on it. If you see that, that's your mac address.
