ok, I have developed a project on the Arduino and using shields, what is the next step?
the device uses only 3.3vDC. so how would i consolidate the boards, and i am using rs232 aswell. i also want to include the usb port for programing, an SD card slot, and a lipo charger. what steps should i take, and whats the easiest way to develop the layouts and schematics. i dont need to know where to go to get the boards made, altho that would be good to know aswell.

There are several programs to design PCBs,

Personally I started with Eagle cadsoft, quite a lot of people here use it.

Maybe these threads, written last year, on the old forum are interesting for you.
