I heard this myth about destroying sensitive info on the hard drive in the old 1990's. Erase data, Load doom, open drive top, add ketchup, play doom until system crashes.

Or you can put chips ("crisps"? in BrEnglish?) around the platter and dip in the bowl.

I thought the hole in the middle was for the concentric spindles from your analog clock drive.

Either that, or a point of aim.  ]:D

Yes, 'crisps' is correct. Which is why fish'n'chips comes with french fries.
