Hi,

I was just wondering whether anybody knows how to get the manufacture date, time and production serial number of an UNO. I have seen the at the back of the board 2011-G is written. Is that the date of manufacture?

regards
yo

The duemilanove at my desk has a sticker CF6099 at the bottom.  duemilanove means 2009

Think date/time/serial does not exist...

What is the purpose? use it as seed for random?

I drew some filled rectangles on the PCB silk screen so I can handwrite s/n on them but maybe the fab house can do this automatically. There should be some script that puts a different number on a board design and panelize it.
