Has anybody connected up several Colorduino's together using I2C?

I'm new to I2C so I'm not sure how you are supposed to give the address to the Colorduino boards. Would it be a constant in PROGMEM different for every Colorduino I use?

If you use the arduino ide + wire library, you make the boards slaves and associate an address as well.

#include <Wire.h>
// ...
Wire.begin(0x16); // join the bus with address 0x16
