Ok, so what i currently know what to do with servo motors, are turn object, i.e. Changing the angle of them.

But say i want the object to go up or down, or left or right?

For example.

We have a cube. And as many servos as it would take.0

The servo is connected to the cube. All the cube is doing is rotating.
What About UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT?

Im not trying to do anything  XD

Im honestly curious, just incase i might need it in future projects.

Ill look up using crank as you said.

jagatia

Yes!, I have the 4 crank one.
But how cud i make it to have a forward backward motion?

You should look at various "linkage" designs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watt%27s_linkage is an earlier, relatively simple linkage for converting rotary movement to linear movement. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peaucellier_linkage This one is more exact.

See this website for excellent java models (does not seem to work in Google Chrome, okay in FireFox) http://kmoddl.library.cornell.edu/resources.php?t=&id=153
