Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hi,
I am new with this SW.
My question is: After burnning the code using this SW - are the lock bits enable?
I have try to use ISCP to read HEX file - but I get an error.
If the lock bits are enable - can I change them using ARDUINO 0022 SW?
Also the 0022 SW - does it also generate HEX file that I can use? (where is this HEX file)?
Thanks,
Roee. smiley-mad

Not using the IDE, you can't.

Obviously.

Hold down the shift key when starting the upload to enable verbose output. You can then see where the hex file is created.

I understand that the hex file is now deleted when you exit the IDE so you better go get it before that happens.  You really have to wonder why they chose to do that.

with AVRDUDE.exe -D you can extract the hex again from the device. Check the manual for the details of the command.

The parameteres look like the one you see when holding the shift key while uploading , only some flag from write -> read IIRC
