Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hello to all,
I'm really interested in checking out this microprocessor for a few projects.
In the US, the two distributors are out of the NG.
Any idea when they will become available?
Or is there a new version/replacement in the works?
Thanks!

Hi,

Any news on the actual launch date.

I've now got on order, Xbee PCB's , Xbee modules, all I need now are the arduino's to make use of them.

Cheers

Robotshop.ca told me they have the new Arduinos in stock. I ordered one yesterday. Expecting it today or tomorrow (robotshop is close by).

I had backordered mine from Robotshop.ca last week and got it yesterday.  It's not an NG but a Decimila (spellling? as I'm at work atm).  It works so far, only got to test the basic blinking light program last night as the 009 zip file would not complete unzip all the directories, I had to manually extract each directory in the structure (this is after d/l twice with no interrupts).  Did not have this problem with other 50+mb zip/tar files.

Weird.  What operating system are you on?  What program were you using to extract the files?

Vista64 - IZarc
Ubuntu Warty - Xarchive

Dual boot so I tried in Ubuntu and had the same problem with both d/l files, could have been just a coincidence that I had 2 corrupt d/l's though.

I got my new arduino today. 0009 expands just fine (mac-intel). However, I am getting a weird problem on sketch upload... (doesn't work)

Code:
java.lang.NullPointerException

      at processing.app.Uploader.flushSerialBuffer(Uploader.java:76)

      at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForHierarchy(EventDispatchThread.java:190)
      at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(EventDispatchThread.java:184)
      at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(EventDispatchThread.java:176)
      at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(EventDispatchThread.java:110)

I'll tinker a bit later..

That's probably because you have the wrong thing selected in the Tools | Serial Port menu.  It should really print a more useful error message, but I needed to get Arduino 0009 out because the Diecimila boards were ready.

That was indeed the problem. I figured it was something simple, but hadn't had a chance to check yet. Thanks!
