Topic: Cannot delete this myself! Was :Can I delete a topic myself completely? (Read 241 times) previous topic - next topic

I know that I can remove my own replies to anyone's topic.

But can I remove a whole topic, like this one?

We'll see...

[Later:] Oops, seems impossible. I can just "Modify".
Even if nobody else has replied yet.

Seems poor Moderators are required, but not paid, for it.

If you want it to be deleted as fast as possible, ask an other user to report it to a moderator.
You can't report your own posts to a moderator (when i tried some time ago, i was told that the request would be silly).
So if you do not want to wait for a moderator to stumble upon this and delete it, ask someone else to help out with that.

OTOH, i don't think this should be removed.
It might help someone else, asking themselves the same thing.
Have a look at "blink without delay".
Did you connect the grounds ?

Agreed, I did not explicitly ask a moderator to do it.

I used this forum branch to give it a try as I became suspicious.
And as it did not work, and no one else showed me how to do it, we can leave it as a warning here.  ;)

Have you tried lately? I thought that that had been changed.

Edit: Just tried, and I can indeed report my own posts.
