Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hi all I'm a total newbie, having only just ordered the Uno board this morning!

I'm a Mac running OSX Lion and have just downloaded the Arduino software but it refuses to even mount the dmg....meaning my new board is useless until I get this resolved. smiley-sad

Has anyone else come across this? Any suggestions?

Many thanks in advance!

Try downloading the DMG again.  Mounting this disk image isn't typically a problem unless it is corrupted.

Could be a compatibility problem with OS X Lion, its only been out a few days and the Arduino software has been around a while. New OS X releases are good at breaking old software.

Others have been having trouble with Lion, but not related to the disk image itself.
