Topic: Basic examples missing from new install, Arduino 0022 (Read 700 times) previous topic - next topic

Hi all,

I have installed Arduino 0022 on to my Fedora 15 laptop, and it is working well. However, the File>Examples> menu is missing the basic core examples that the tutorials are based on (blink, analog read, etc.). I have the library examples installed by default instead. I have googled and no one else seems to have run into this issue.

How can I get the basic examples to show up under the File>Examples> menu?

Download the IDE from _here_ and not  use the one from your software repo?
• Upload doesn't work? Do a loop-back test.
• There's absolutely NO excuse for not having an ISP!
• Your AVR needs a brain surgery? Use the online FUSE calculator.
My projects: RGB LED matrix, RGB LED ring, various ATtiny gadgets...
• Microsoft is not the answer. It is the question, and the answer is NO!
