There are two Arduino simulator apps for iPhone/iPad in Tunes store at
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/arduino-simulator-learn-diy/id438426863?mt=8 and,
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/arduino-simulator-full-pack/id447001317?mt=8

Presently the capabilities are limited and are evolving. Some info on capabilites is at http://schogini.com/tutorials/arduino/#C3

The right search in Google turned up these results:

http://www.oshonsoft.com/avr.html
http://webscripts.softpedia.com/script/Scientific-Engineering-Ruby/ATMEL-AVR-Simulator-32950.html
http://www.amctools.com/atmel.htm
http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/simulavr/
http://compilers.cs.ucla.edu/avrora/simulator.html
http://sourceforge.net/projects/avr/
http://avr.sourceforge.net/

There were a few more, but I guess you'll find something useful there. Also, you can have a look at avrfreaks.net in the Tools section as I'm quite sure some more software will be there.
This... is a hobby.
