hi,

i used arduino together with the polar wireless receiver board
http://www.polarusa.com/manufacturers/products/products.asp
to build 12 heartbeat detectors for a project called HeartChamberOrchestra.
http://www.heartchamberorchestra.org
i used arduino because it was very convenient :-)

no - not processing, i used Gem which is an openGL library extension for Pure Data.

That's really amazing. Thanks for sharing it here. I'm curious how the musicians felt during the performance, did it make them more aware, or even uncomfortably aware, of their bodies during the performance?
