Topic: LilyPad USB not recognized by PC anymore (Read 907 times) previous topic - next topic

Hi all,

My LilyPad USB used to work fine.  But today after I loaded a preliminary program (possibly with many bugs) to the board, the board cannot be recognized by the PC anymore.  What I mean is, there is no COM port showing up and I can't reprogram the LilyPad anymore.  I've tried resetting the board, disconnecting the board, but none of those works.

When I press the reset button, the Device Manager refreshes, but the COM port for the LilyPad USB doesn't show up.  I am sure it's not a driver issue, because it used to work on my PC, and I also tested the board with another PC, and same thing happened.

What can I do?

thanks,
Gordon

does that mean I will need to purchase a programmer to do that?
