Lefty,

I was about to post a reply on that DS1307 post, which we both jumped in on, about you're up so early. I'm 2 hours ahead of your time zone and I got up because the radiators are too noisy and the room is too warm and the thermostat is not working.

Tried to reply on that thread with the above but the OP locked the thread and ran away in anger and frustration. So here I am :)
Just getting ready to do some meaningful stuff today.

I was going to make a crack about how it's already cold up there in the frozen North, when I noticed the part about the thermostat not working.  :) But then, I wonder about even having heating running this time of year. Now I'm wondering when the landlord here is going to turn the heating system back on. After a record August for heat, we're hitting the 40's for overnight lows. The building itself holds enough heat that it's not yet a problem.

Our building has lots of senior citizens so the cumulative nagging power is very big. They don't like the cold. There's times when a day in April was cold and without heating was not comfortable and then the next day was warm and the heat was on. I believe angry grannies showed up at the office and there came the heat.  :smiley-mr-green:

It's quiet here so the radiator complaint ;). The rest of the town's rental are mostly student residents considering the town has less than 70K residence and the university has 18,000 enrolled and very limited dorms.
