Topic: midi sequencer (Read 688 times) previous topic - next topic

Here is my sequencer I made last night:

More info would be great...

it generates midi sequences based on some pre-programmed rules to get techno-like patterns.

it sends notes to one channel (connected to a tb303 emulator - mam mb33 mkii)

and sends other notes to my tr909 triggering kick and hihat

after playing for a few beats it generates a new pattern.

my newer version keeps the same pattern and just evolves it more like "real" techno. after a certain amount of time it does a slight break-down/build-up before dropping the next (subtle) change.

a button allows you to create a new sequence if you do not like the current one.

I'd really appreciate update's on this one. Aswell as a narrower defention of techno-patterns :)
