arduino uno board regulators
Sep 11, 2011, 12:23 pm
hello, I opened the eagle files about arduino uno, and I noticed there are two 5 volt regulators
I think only one is used when the board is produced, but why are there both on the project?

Just to show that there are two possible regulator types that can be installed at assembly time. Allows for better flexibility/inventory control when procuring parts for building boards in batch assemblies.
