Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hi all,
I have installed arduino022 pack on my windows XP pc.
I installed the arduino uno driver (I am using Arduino Fio, but this was the closest driver).
I changed the com port to be com1.
When I open the arduino.exe application with the "blink" example, I get the tools->serial port menu greyed out.
The Fio board is plugged in one of the USB ports.
When I try to upload the compiled code to the i/o board I get the message "COM1 not found".
Can anyone help me with this serial port thing? how can I enable the serail port menu?

What are you using as an USB/Serial adapter?

The USB connector on the FIO is just for power.
