very neat! what system do you use for him to be able to breath fire? can he do more than one fire breath without having it reloaded?


The Pyro system is based off a well known Magicians trick - basically using a very-very small piece of "FlashPaper" fired by the Arduinos electronics  :o
- it is a one shot system - though installing extra pyrotubes (with different payloads and coloured flashpaper) would also be very easy to integrate.

Ah, cool! i like it a lot... does it shoot automatically under certain conditions or do you control it?

The system is Totally Automatic and controlled through the sensors.
At present the Pyro-tube is programmed to fire when one of the two LDR detectors give a very high reading.
This is what i call the "Angry Mode"- meaning if you shine a very bright light at his head (i use a Laser pen) he will get angry and his Bright RED led Eyes light up (to warn) and 2 seconds later the Pyro-tube fires.
Laser light is much brighter than the light coming off a flame so it does not interfere with his flame detection software.
