this thing pops up every once in a while, and it is handy to help figure stuff out, but I do agree, it is a bit annoying to use

but other than that its cool

And every time anyone in the future asks about driving relays, I will give them this post to explain what the clamp diode does...

Shows how inductive kickback gets harmlessly routed when the switch opens, instead of hammering your 5 volt device with a 100 volt pulse.
