 Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset
A sensor application appends some data line by line at a certain interval.

Now I am going to plot some charts on a GLCD therefore I need to read sensor data but only the last 100 lines. How can I accomplish this beside scanning for newline chars ?

That IS how you accomplish it.

Unless the records are fixed length. Then, you might be able to set the read point within the file. Of course, you'd have to know how big the file is.
