I am having trouble finding the right resistor for my 7 segment controller. I am using the AS1106 which is identical to the MAX7221 and have 7 Segment displays that have a forward voltage of 2-2,6 V at 20mA - Now is it correct that I need a 231 Ohm resistor for them at ISET? what would be the best? Thanks for your help smiley

It would be best to choose the closest value to this you can get and not worry about not driving the LEDs to exactly 20mA.

What's wrong with a 220R resistor, that is a standard value.
