Your latest blog post: just get a DS1307 in 8-pin DIP from dipmicro.com, 32.768 xtal, two 10K resistors. 3V battery for backup. Wire them into your breadboard.

I already have the breakout board(I now know it was a stupid decision because it was so expensive compared to just the chip)...

I thought you were a college student taking an intro to EE class :)

When I was 14, I was drawing stage diagrams, writing strategy for Nintendo games on paper and making transformers action figures (transformable) with Styrofoam. LOL

BTW, I like your "Arduino inside" touch of detail (although everything is kind of out in the open).

I don't really follow blogs, but I am happy to visit if the site has something interesting on it. Yours has a nice sharp look to it, and I think the photos look fine. If you have something in your blog that relates to a question on the forum then contribute to the thread with a link to your blog and people will visit. You could also exhibit your projects with links back to the blog. Its not easy to get subscribers, but you will get hits.
