I'm getting the following error when trying to upload to my arduino Uno.  I am on windows Vista. It was working earlier but now I am getting this error. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Code: [Select]
Binary sketch size: 1228 bytes (of a 32256 byte maximum)
avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x30
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51

The Verbose outout info is:

Did you read the troubleshooting guide?
Did you do a loop-back test?

If not... do it now!
• Upload doesn't work? Do a loop-back test.
• There's absolutely NO excuse for not having an ISP!
• Your AVR needs a brain surgery? Use the online FUSE calculator.
My projects: RGB LED matrix, RGB LED ring, various ATtiny gadgets...
• Microsoft is not the answer. It is the question, and the answer is NO!
