Thank you for your advise. I confussed you due to my bad explanation. I have both of them(3 phase, 1 phase) and I decided to use single phase motor which is not a good solution as you pointed out.
Your original 3-phase motor was a much better bet, using a single-to-3 phase invertor. This would have allowed variable speed capability form almost 0RPM to 3500RPM (twice your original motor speed)
Could you tell me what type of single to 3 phase invertor I need and how to use it? Variable speed capability is definitely what I need at the moment.

The two motors I have right now is attached to hydraulic units and I am planning to use this hydraulic unit to power a hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic motor. Arduino will control this hydraulic unit.
