Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

simple way to backup and restore eeprom in the ide. In my project by example I saved IR codes I read with information like device, function, witch I had to enter by hand. now I want to make my own custom pcb for this project and I'm missing a simple way to transfer the data in the eeprom.

Are you suggestion a feature for the Arduino IDE or asking for help?

for clarification:
first sentence: I suggested a feature.
second sentence: I made an example what you'd need it for
third sentence: I asked for a workaround. I think avrdude supports this functionality but the uno bootloader doesn't.
