Topic: linux / cannot change board type (Read 718 times) previous topic - next topic

after a fresh install of arduino-1.0 under Ubuntu 11.10 in principle the sw is working (can compile and upload).

But I cannot change the board type, if I select anything other than the default, the value is always reset to the default board.

??

thx, michael

I just started playing with Arduino V1.0, and I have not seen that problem. I am using Ubuntu V11.10.
I installed Arduino V0022 from the Ubuntu repository first tho.

Add: I had to check my setup. The setup preferences are kept in this directory/file
/home/user/.arduino/preferences.txt
That is a hidden directory in your home directory. You can open it with a text editor to check it.

Watch for me on National Geographic Wild "When Sharks Attack: Gulf Coast Killers". Airs on June 22nd.
