I hope I am posting this in the correct area,

I have a Mega 2560 R3 and bought a screw shield from a company in portugal
but I had no idea about the pin differences of the first rev and R3.

The real question is on the ethernet shield R3 is the 6 pins on the rear center needed.
Because the screw shield does not have a pin header for those pins or the ISP connector.

I could cut a hole in the screw shield and make a 6 pin header extension if need be.

Yes, they are. Why not put the screw shield on top of the ethernet shield?

"From a company in Portugal" implies that there is more than one company in Portugal, which I believe is the case. So, you have a product that you haven't really told us anything about.

Is this screw shield specifically for the Mega? Or, does it fit other Arduino boards, too?
