Trying to load multiwii 1.9 on a Seeeduino film "board" using step by step instructions found here:

http://www.instructables.com/id/Seeeduino-Film-and-Motion-Capture/step3/Programming-Film/

Pressing upload, after some seconds I get:
avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0xbf
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0xbf

When starting serial monitor, and selecting 38400bps, I get from Seeeduino :
test failed ---> 0

sent multiple times, one for every board LED pulse.

Any ideas what could be wrong ?

Thank you

Where did you get the board? I got two recently that came like this, previously uploaded with a sketch that produces a flashing LED and the same
test failed ---> 0,
also at 38400.
I'm thinking maybe these are units that failed factory testing perhaps? Mine arrived looking slightly beat up. I was able to upload to one, but it won't take analog inputs.
I got them from EpicTinker. We'll see how they respond.

Did you ever successfully resolve your issue?

Update:
Haven't resolved the original issue yet, but wanted to report that epictinker.com has been stellar in pursuing the issue with me. Very happy with them so far.
