Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Good Evening,

Freshly installed Ardunio.app on my MacBook Pro running 10.6.8.

Created a new sketch, and tried to type in a window and getting no characters to show up and a system error sound for each keystroke.

Board points to Uno
serial port points to nothing.

My keyboard is going thru a USB hub but works in every other app.

Bottom of Ardunio window says Arduino Uno on /dev/usbmodemfd1111

Stymied.  Looked thru this forum, did a google search, nothing.

Thoughts of a great community are????

Thanks

Must have been something from the previous version.
I had previously installed arduino-0022 and had several libraries installed.
I now have blown away all Applications Directory, hold Documents Directory, anything that reference Arduino.

Seems to be working now, edited Blink anyways.

Thanks
