I own a ARDUINO DIECIMILA but as i am a beginner i want the simple and best method to put my .hex file to arduino board ,without buying and hard ware or soldering the board plz help smiley

If you need to change fuses or locks you will need to get an ISP device.

If you just have a .hex file you want to load onto the Diecimila you can use the avrdude utility that comes with Arduino to upload the file through the bootloader:

/hardware/tools/avr/bin/avrdude
   -C/hardware/tools/avr/etc/avrdude.conf
   -patmega328p
   -carduino
   -P/dev/tty.usbserial-A6004peF
   -b57600
    -D
    -Uflash:w:/directory/filename.hex:i

Do you know anyone with an working Arduino board? You can program it to function as an ISP and use it to load a bootloader in your device.
