I got a 2.8" TFT Touch Shield for Christmas, and I was wondering how I can get it to work. I downloaded the libraries from adafruit.net, but the Arduino IDE won't work with it. I am using an Arduino Uno R3 if that helps.

Link to adafruits website: http://adafruit.com/products/376

I got the libraries to work with the IDE, and when I tried to upload the tftpaint example, it said this in the output:

Code: [Select]
tftpaint.cpp:2:25: error: TouchScreen.h: No such file or directory
tftpaint.pde:-1: error: 'TouchScreen' does not name a type
tftpaint.cpp: In function 'void loop()':
tftpaint.pde:-1: error: 'Point' was not declared in this scope
tftpaint.pde:-1: error: expected `;' before 'p'
tftpaint.pde:-1: error: 'p' was not declared in this scope

Any idea?

How?

I bought a seeduino TFT from radio shack, v1.0, ran into some of the same pitfalls getting arduino 1.0 to find the libraries, but was able to get the code to compile and load onto a UNO R2 board. but nothing happens, i open up serial monitor and get the message

paint!

unknown driver

and nothing happens after that.

is this what your using?
Thanks
