I have four stepper motors that I bought from ebay. They came without any specs or anything and I could not find anything on the internet. Is there any test I could do to find out how many steps these stepper motors have?

Well, you could hook them up to a motor driver and start stepping! Put a little piece of tape on the shaft and see how many steps it takes to go a full circle.

Remember that the vast majority of motors are either 1.8 degree or 7.5 degree per step.

Another technique is to turn the shaft at a known rate and look at the frequency of the waveform generated by one of the windings - the period of this waveform is 4 steps.
