Hi everybody,

I'm trying to find a way to install the new Arduino Drivers automatically.
For example with an installer or by calling a command line like
rundll32 syssetup,SetupInfObjectInstallAction DefaultInstall 128 .\Arduino UNO.inf

I have no success and also did not find any helpful hints.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks,
Mick

The proper way to preinstall the Arduino driver on Windows is to use the DPInst utility from Microsoft.

You would need to do some research to figure out the proper use of the tool to preinstall the driver using this method.

This approach would really only be helpful if it was included in the Arduino IDE package and would require the IDE to redistribute the DPInst utility.
