Salve, sto cercando di realizzare un progetto che farà parte della mia tesi all'università ... Arduino è una parte importante in quanto mostro come tale tecnologia possa servire a scopi anche di sicurezza e socialmente utili.
la mia idea di progetto è un gilet per escursionisti, alpinisti, e scalatori, che possa essere ergonomico e di aiuto per le lunghe camminate attraverso un sistema di schiume nella parte lombare. La parte di arduino vorrei dotarla per dei punti ben studiati e sensibili in cui nel momento di impatto per caduta ... arduino invia attraverso un gps un segnale di chiamata ad un numero di telefono spiegando l'emergenza e segnalando le coordinate del luogo in cui si trova e tramite i sensori collocati sulle diverse parti trasmette anche il tipo d'impatto e l'intensità in modo da avere una prima analisi...
in sintesi il mio progetto è questo!!!

VOLEVO CHIEDERE UN PARERE A CHIUNQUE PER SAPERE TALE CONCEPT SIA FATTIBILE E UNA BUONA IDEA PER TALE PROBLEMA ..... CHE NE PENSATE ???

Hi, I'm trying to create a project that will be part of my dissertation at the University ... Arduino is an important part as I show how this technology could also serve for purposes of safety and socially useful.
My project idea is a vest for hikers, mountaineers and climbers, which can be ergonomic and help for long walks through a system of foam in the lumbar region. The part of the arduino would provide it for the points well studied and sensitive in which the moment of impact by gravity ... Arduino sends a signal through a GPS to call a phone number explaining the emergency and reporting details of the location where it is and using the sensors placed on different parts transmit the type of impact and intensity to get a first analysis ...
in short this is my project!

I WANTED TO ASK FOR AN OPINION TO ANYONE KNOW THIS CONCEPT IS VIABLE AND A GOOD IDEA FOR THIS PROBLEM ..... What do you think??

Hi Alessandro,

The idea is good and viable and valueable but - there is always a but.

You make the assumption that
1) there will be GPS available everywhere,
2) there will be GSM available everywhere,
3) the system only reacts to a fall

I think that is too simple for a dissertation of an University (which one?), you should try to add something (really) new.

Some ideas
- Dead mans button. The person must press a button three times per day (or more) otherwise the device will start sending emergency calls. If the person is unconsious due to bad food or whatever (not fallen) the system would trigger automatically.

- Continuous monitoring. The device sends an SMS every hour with actual location. Remote tracking is fairly easy as you get a new point every hour.

- Weather Report included. The device does not only send location but also several sensor values (body temperature, outside temperature, humidity, O2 level, airpressure, light / dark, heartrate, breath rate dry/wet etc  This one can be done in the emergency but also in the continuous monitoring mode.

L'idea è buona e vitale e valueable, ma - c'è sempre un ma.

Tu fai l'ipotesi che
1) ci saranno GPS disponibili ovunque,
2) ci sarà GSM disponibili ovunque,
3) il sistema reagisce solo a una caduta

Penso che sia troppo semplice per una tesi di una Università (quale?), Si dovrebbe cercare di aggiungere qualcosa (molto) nuovo.

alcune idee
- Dead Mans pulsante. La persona deve premere un tasto per tre volte al giorno (o più) altrimenti il ​​dispositivo inizierà l'invio di chiamate di emergenza. Se la persona è unconsious a causa di cattivo cibo o qualsiasi altra cosa (non morti) il sistema farebbe scattare automaticamente.

- Monitoraggio continuo. Il dispositivo invia un SMS ad ogni ora con la posizione effettiva. Monitoraggio remoto è abbastanza facile, come si ottiene un nuovo punto ogni ora.

- Weather Report inclusa. Grazie per il consiglio ... La mia conoscenza di arduino è ancora bassa... il titolo della mia tesi è " LA DIFFUSIONE DELL'INNOVAZIONE ARTIGIANALE ATTRAVERSO TECNOLOGIA E DESIGN " questo mi ha portato a fare una ricerca sia sul mondo dell'artigianato che delle nuove tecnologie dove ho incontrato arduino .... con un artigiano che lavora la pelletteria abbiamo prodotto una borsa che riconosce con led rgb il colore di quello che si indossa e trasforma la borsa del colore proprio .. oltra questo ho inserito quest'altro concept in modo da mostrare come in un periodo di crisi la piccola impresa artigiana con nuove tecnologie a basso costo possono dare prodotti eccellenti e innovativi...

le idee che mi hai dato mi sono di grande aiuto per capire la fattibilità in quanto come ti dicevo conosco solo marginalmente le potenzialità di arduino ...

volevo chiederti ma l'alimentazione che voltaggio avrebbe bisogno per un monitoraggio con sms nel inviare la posizione, ma anche valori diversi sensori (temperatura corporea ect ect) ?
