Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hey there fellow arduinians! So i was hacking a thermometer to get the laser out of it when i noticed 3 pins on the board labeled rx gnd and tx. Was wondering if there is a way to interface with this to send temperature data to an arduino.

sounds like a serial interface.
Check the voltage with a DMM and if it is 5V you can connect it to the (soft)serial port.

connect GND to Arduino GND
connect TX to Arduino RX
connect RX to Arduino TX

Then you are connected on hardware level, you need to find out the baud rate (typically 2400,4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600) and an optional protocol ...

Do you have some serial number/ type number of the device?

Lets see, the model number is 96451, and the serial number is 4815-36148-2531.
